The European Paper Industry Show was June 27th, 28th & the 29th.
The 2005 Zell Cheming Exhibition was held
in the main Expo Hall in Weisbaden, Germany
during the last week of June, it is the largest
mainland European Paper Trade Show and was
very well attended with visitors from many
European countries.
Barco's representative for Germany, Edgar Kraus of Wernicke Industrie service
has exhibited for the past several years and this year invited Barco to showcase
our Paper industry products and provide personnel support to help man the booth.
Craig Stafford of Barco Europe and I were volunteered to help out and together
with Edgar and his wife Ingrid spent the three days of the show promoting our
products to the Paper makers of Europe.
The exhibitor list was extensive with over three floors of booths
and all types of suppliers from chemicals and services to OEM equipment and plant
maintenance.
The Wernicke booth was shared with Lang Systems, who Edgar also represents. Mr.
Michael Lang, owner of Lang and his wife Rose shared the booth coverage which
was a blessing as the show hours lasted from 8 in the morning to 6 at night.
The two companies certainly complimented each other with the range of services
and products supplied to the industry. It was also very obvious that Edgar and
Michael are well known and well respected within the Paper industry based on
the number of visitors, inquiries and discussions that occurred.
