The adaptable Barco Plane Swivel Joint.

If your applications call for the ability to provide a full 360 degree movement of piping elements in one or more planes and if you need the optimum in positive sealing with low torque, then the Barco 5200 series is the joint you require. The Barco design has several features that set us apart from our competitors:
Two rows of widely spaced ball bearings with precision races permit heavier loads and lower torque resulting in extended life and performance. Our dust seal protects the bearings from contamination that could impact negatively on life. Buna N, Teflon and Viton seals are available to allow application to a wide range of chemicals, oils, water, air and gases. The 5200 can be inspected and the seals replaced without removing the unit from the piping, allowing rapid and easy maintenance that reduces high shop costs and improves equipment up-time.
A high performance joint with injectable graphite sealant is available for high temperature applications.

Rubber Expo 2005......

Pittsburgh’s, David L. Lawrence Convention Center is the venue for the 2005 Rubber Expo that runs from November 1st through November 3rd. The meeting which is staged every two years, brings together all associated rubber industries personnel from a myriad of differing vocations; to discuss technical and business issues that are currently affecting the industry as a whole.
A  large part of this gathering is the Exhibition which brings together all manner of suppliers to the rubber industries. As in previous years Barco will be exhibiting our full line of unions and joints and we extend an invitation to all of our customers and distributors, to drop in and see us at the booth.

We are expecting several of our OEM customers to be exhibiting throughout the show and we plan on visiting and reacquainting ourselves with these loyal customers, some of whom have had a relationship with Barco for over 40 years.

So if you can get over to Pittsburgh and take in the Rubber Expo, make sure to stop and see us.
