The Barco Type "C" in Bronze or Ferrous trim?

When a customer calls and says their media is steam, most people immediately think ferrous trim Type “C”. This joint has a long history of dependable steam service, but we do have another option…Bronze trim Type “C”.

In some steam systems operating at low-pressures you will encounter condensate mixed with the steam being supplied to the joints. The lower the steam pressure, the higher the probability for condensate in the steam. The more condensate in the steam, the faster the parts will rust, just like running in water.

The bronze trim Type “C” fills a very important niche when low pressure steam is encountered.  The bronze trim is resistant to the corrosion and rusting effects of water.

So the next time you run into a steam application under 50 psi, you might want to consider the bronze trim Type “C”.

President of Barco

Things I'm thankful for:

...the taxes I pay, because it means I have a job.

...a lawn that needs mowing and windows that need cleaning, because it means that I have a home.

...the spot I find at the far end of the parking lot, because it means I'm capable of walking.

...all the complaining about our government, because it means we have freedom of speech.

...my large heating bill, because it means I am warm.

...the alarm that goes off in the morning, because it means I'm alive.

...the neighbors dog that barks, because it means I can hear.

...weariness at the end of the day, because it means I have been productive. I have lots to be thankful for, we all do.
