Barco’s network of worldwide distributors continues to grow.
In the past four years, we have made a concerted effort to expand our overseas partners and to keep up with the continuing trend of industrial growth in historically non-industrialized or non-reachable areas.
In the last few months, new agents have been brought into the Barco team in such places as China, Malaysia, Ecuador, Sri Lanka and India. Signing up these reputable sales companies allows us to provide products and technical expertise to the far-flung customers of the world. When you add together our longer established distributors in Europe, Mexico, Australia, Japan and others, we have a great network of Barco suppliers, of whom we are very proud.
We get continuous inquiries from several of the African nations, countries in the Far and Mideast, and some of the old east Bloc and Baltic countries. Our inquires are flavored with a cultural mix of extremes and an unbelievable array of applications. However, whether the application is in Birmingham Alabama or Birmingham England, Paris France or Paris Texas, we have the support needed to ensure our customers are given the best service and products available regardless of industry or size of plant.
Dealing with people on the other side of the world does bring into play some logistical differences usually revolving around time zones. Luckily for us in these days of technology advancement, if it wasn’t for the good old e-mail we would have no chance of providing what we do to so many places.... |
